Living Up To The Name
Never underestimate the heart of a four-time champion.

I am not him. He is the commissioner of our fantasy football league, Cebert Frogs, and he’s the only team owner in AGS who has won four championships. It’s been a long time since the last one, but that’s four more AGS titles than I have.Last week, that little froggy got some bounce back in his step and put together a stunning comeback win against the defending champ, Ambassadors of Quan. I say it was “stunning” because I imagine that’s how Quan looked as he watched the improbable happen. Stunned.
You see folks—and I know some of you out there experienced this exact thing last weekend—Quan put up 50-ish points on the Commish right off the bat courtesy of David Montgomery (former Cebert Frog) and Amon-Ra St. Brown.
That’s not the way you want to start your fantasy football week. Hell no. Somehow, someway—he would say, “skill,” others would say, “luck”—Cebert held off Quan to pick up his second win of the season, kick off a winning streak that he believes he’ll continue against the league’s current powerhouse, Rudy’s Replacements, and perhaps be the foundation on which he builds another title run.
Last week was Cebert’s week. The week before was owned by Rudy. Every week, the league keeps living up to its name: Any Given Sunday.
This is fantasy football, baby!
